Pretending to play dress up
As our make believe unfurled
In our hippocampus room
a rumpus always welcome
hair straight and long or curled
it doesn't really matter one way
or another who we call a brother
so long as we can give each other
every benefit of a doubt and never
allowing them to keep the change
of ever being unwilling to find out;
enough is enough there's so much
stuff out there strewn about
best let it settle down now
before stepping through
